Cookie Policy

You are hereby informed that, when you visit our website, cookies may be installed on your device (PC or laptop, tablet or smartphone).

As such, this policy aims to provide you with the essential information on how we use these cookies, the objectives sought for as part of their use, and to inform you of your rights in this respect.

Cookies are small text files that are stored on and/or read in an Internet user’s terminal when consulting a website or any mobile application, and that are used by said website to send information to the browser software.

Throughout its validity period, a cookie enables its sender to recognize the terminal each time said terminal accesses content containing cookies from the same sender.

The cookies we use can be grouped into three categories:

  1. the so-called essential or technical cookies;
  2. audience measurement cookies; and
  3. advertising cookies.

1. Essential or technical cookies

Essential or technical cookies are those whose sole purpose is to enable or make communication by electronic means easier, or those strictly necessary for providing an online communication service at the user’s express request.

In particular, these cookies are used to:

  • Retain the preferences expressed by the user on the tracker repository;
  • Adapt the website presentation to the display preferences of the terminal;
  • Memorize information regarding the forms that the user has filled in on the website.

2. Audience measurement cookies

Audience measurement cookies are used to get information about the Internet user’s browsing activity (examples of purposes: measuring performance, detecting browsing problems, optimizing technical performance or ergonomics, estimating the power of servers required, analysing the content consulted, etc.).

3. Advertising cookies

The so-called advertising cookies are linked to targeted advertising, i.e. the observation of users’ browsing habits, allowing a specific profile to be created in order to show ads that match them.

Our website may also contain third-party cookies.

We make sure that these cookies are properly managed by third-party services, but we shall not be held responsible for them.

We comply with the requirements set by the CNIL – the French Data Protection Authority – regarding data retention periods.

Technical or essential cookies are kept for the time necessary to provide and properly operate the service.

Regarding audience measurement cookies, their lifespan does not exceed 13 months. As for the information collected through these trackers, it is kept for 25 months.

Other cookies are kept for a period reasonably necessary to achieve the purposes for which they are used. The validity of the consent granted will not exceed 13 months.

According to the CNIL’s guidelines, a distinction must be made between cookies that are subject to prior consent and those that are subject to the exemption scheme.

Cookies that require your prior consent include advertising cookies and audience measurement cookies that are not exempt from consent.

Technical cookies and certain cookies relating to audience measurement fall under the exemption scheme.

With regard to audience measurement cookies that are exempt from consent, you can exercise the right to object.

We use a Consent Management Platform (“CMP”) to collect consents and manage the right to object.

Through this tool, you can easily manage the activation or deactivation of our cookies, excluding technical cookies that are and remain necessary for our services to work properly.

If you have any questions, please contact our Data Protection Officer (see Data Protection Policy).

We reserve the right to modify this policy, in particular in the event of regulatory changes or recommendations made by the CNIL.
