Admission requirements

Graduate Engineering courses in initial training (under student or work-study status)

  • With a general or professional bachelor’s degree, a vocational training certificate (BTS) or technical diploma (DUT) or any other recognized scientific and/or technical Higher Education Diploma (+2 years).
  • Be under 30 years old* and choose a company for work-study training
  • Language requirements:

You can submit your application on “Etudes en France”, online on our website or apply directly to the campus of your choice.


*Please not that the work-study course is only accessible to students under the age of 30 who are EU nationals, or to non EU-students under the age of 30 who have also been resident in France for more than 12 months in the year preceding the work-study course. Moreover, the work-study is only possible after signing a contract with a company.

Alternative Admission

  • In 2nd year: students with a certified 1st year preparatory class for the Grandes Ecoles (CPGE) or a certified scientific L1
  • In 4th year: students holding a Master 1 or Master 2 in science related to the selected specialty.

NB: For international students requiring a visa, the application must be made through “Etudes en France“. International students : if you are eligible for our courses and you are applying outside the EEF calendar, please apply on our application platform. If you are eligible, we will then help you with your visa application

Requested documents, to be attached to the application file (for international students not applying through “Etudes en France“:

High school transcripts of the last year of high school (13th class or equivalent).

  • High school transcripts of the High school diploma or high school secondary school certificate
  • Higher education transcripts (Bachelor’s degree, High school diploma + 2 years of higher education …)

NB: Scanned original transcripts and a translation of all transcripts are required if they are not in English or French.

  • A curriculum vitae;
  • A letter of motivation
  • A diploma, a certificate or a language certification attesting to a minimum level of B2 in French (DELF/ DALF, TCF, TEF, …)
  • A diploma, a certificate or a language certification attesting to a B1 minimum level in English (TOEFL, CAE, IELTS, TOIEC, …)
  • A photo
  • A copy of the identity document or residence permit
  • Other documents will be requested before the beginning of the school year in case of admission. Please refer to the application form.

Application process for post-secondary school diploma +2 years of higher education students

As a consequence of the Covid-19 crisis, the written exams for the graduate engineering courses were exceptionally cancelled in the spring 2020. The application process applicable in 2021 will be communicated shortly.

Usually, the application is made in several steps:

  • Examination of the candidate’s file and verification of eligibility
  • Oral test / Motivation interview
  • Written selection tests
  • National Admission Jury
  • Communication of admission results to candidates

Any incomplete file will result in a decision of inadmissibility.
