The CESI campus in Nanterre hosted the 2025 edition of the ECMLG (European Conference on Management, Leadership and Governance), an international scientific event that brings together researchers, teachers, experts, and professionals from more than 40 countries every year. For more than twenty years, the ECMLG has been an unmissable event for the academic community interested in leadership, governance, managerial innovation, and organizational transformation. This year’s edition fully reflected this tradition, offering a rich platform for dialogue on the current and future challenges of management.

A Strategic Event for CESI and its Scientific Development

Hosting this international conference represents an important step in the development of research at CESI. By organizing ECMLG 2025, the school is reaffirming its commitment to the production and dissemination of scientific knowledge and strengthening its academic collaborations on a global scale.

The conference themes are closely aligned with CESI’s research areas, with a particular focus on managerial transformations and the ethical, cultural, and technological issues shaping organizations. The event also contributed to enhancing the visibility of CESI’s research activities and fostering the emergence of new institutional partnerships.

A Collaborative Organization and a Rigorous Scientific Program

The success of the event is based on strong internal mobilization and close collaboration with ACPI, an organization specializing in international conferences. The CESI teams played a central role in the preparation and running of the conference, thanks to the scientific coordination of Stéphanie Buisine, Research Director of the Learning and Innovating team, the logistical management led by Muriel Davies,Faculty member and researcher, and the involvement of administrative and technical staff, as well as several doctoral students responsible for welcoming participants.

The event brought together around 50 participants on the Paris-Nanterre campus, alongside an online session organized by ACPI.

The particularly intensive scientific program included double-blind peer-reviewed papers, thematic sessions, workshops, and numerous opportunities for exchange between researchers and practitioners. The selected articles will be published in the official conference proceedings, which are internationally recognized, and several opportunities for publication in partner journals have also been offered.

New Perspectives for Research and International Cooperation

Participants came from a wide range of countries, including Finland, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Iran, the United States, and Poland, highlighting the event’s strong international dimension and CESI’s ability to bring together a global scientific community around shared issues.

This successful organization confirms CESI’s expertise in hosting large-scale scientific events and its active involvement in international academic debates. It promotes internal expertise, strengthens the institution’s visibility within the scientific community, and opens up new opportunities for collaboration in the years to come.
