Support services for international students

The quality of the welcome given to international students is one of CESI’s key commitments. It has earned the school two out of three stars in the “Bienvenue en France” label. This certification speaks to the quality of the welcome given to foreign students at CESI.
The “Bienvenue en France” qualification evaluates the actions taken to meet the needs of international students, based on several criteria: quality and accessibility of information, quality and accessibility of reception facilities, accessibility and support for teaching, accommodation and quality of campus life, quality of post-graduation follow-up.

Sponsorship
Welcoming international students is one of CESI’s commitments.
That’s why we offer a “Buddy” program—or peer sponsorship—to welcome new students. This system facilitates successful integration and academic achievement. Visit our campus to find out how to sign up!
Student Life
To make the most of your stay in Brest, get to know the other students at the school and enjoy a rich student life during your studies.
The Student Union (BDE) plays an active role in campus life in Brest. Students can organize or sign up for various activities or join in different sporting, cultural, or humanitarian initiatives.
In addition, at the start of the academic year, the city of Brest and the schools organize Interkampus: the must-attend event of the fall semester for students in Brest! The program for this festive and friendly afternoon includes an information village, activities organized by student associations, sports and cultural events, food stands, and more.
The Brest metropolitan area has 3,400 international students from over 110 different countries. Once settled in France, international students can enjoy events designed just for them: a welcome day (September) and “World Student Night” (December).
