CESI Welcome Week: Get started with your immersion in France ahead of the new academic year
You’ve been enrolled in a CESI École d’Ingénieurs program, or you’ll be attending one of our campuses for a semester abroad? Congratulations!
From Monday, August 31, to Friday, September 4, join us at the iX Campus in Saint-Germain-en-Laye to make your orientation a real highlight of your stay in France.
Why participate to the Welcome Week?
A 5-day orientation program to welcome you, guide you, and help you settle into your new life as a student in France. This week will give you the chance to get integrated and meet other international students who will be attending other CESI campuses.
Together, you’ll share a welcoming and fulfilling experience, packed with discussions, new discoveries, and practical advice, to help you settle in smoothly and thrive during your academic journey.
- Take the time to settle in peacefully: discover all the useful tips to make your daily life easier—housing, transportation, healthcare, banking, and more. You’ll leave with plenty of tips on how to live in France like a local.
- Learn about your rights and responsibilities: residence permits, insurance, administrative procedures, legal obligations… We’ll help you understand everything you need to do upon arrival and inform you of your rights as an international student.
- Acquaint yourself with French culture: learn about social norms, daily customs, and best practices to better understand life in France, avoid misunderstandings, and adapt more easily.
- Grasp essential French language fundamentals: Take part in practical FLE (French as a Foreign Language) workshops to improve your speaking skills, enhance your everyday vocabulary, and build confidence in your daily conversations. These workshops will also give you the chance to experience CESI’s active teaching approach, which is based on participation, discussion, and learning through practice.
- Create meaningful connections: meet other international students, share your experiences, and start building your network as soon as you arrive. This is the perfect way to form lasting friendships and share your journey throughout your studies.

This welcome week is open only to students whose enrollment at CESI École d’Ingénieurs has been confirmed, subject to availability.
